Babajide Alaka is a deeply creative writer, with over 10 years experience in creating content, first as a journalist and as a content marketing executive.
He studied Petroleum Engineering at the University of Ibadan and is Microsoft Certified in Database Engineering. His love for playing sports [captained both football and volleyball teams in the university] invested a lot of passion for sports in him, which eventually led him to journalism.
From being a Procurement Officer at Mobil Oil Nigeria, he had a stint as a software engineer and consultant with Precise Financial Systems before the bug of journalism finally caught.
Babajide joined Media Vision Limited and edited the popular The Game before leaving for the Next Newspapers. From there he wrote for the Daily Times before joining Goal.com as a pioneer staff of their Nigeria stable, where he rose to become Assistant Editor.
He co-founded FCNaija, a football website before leaving to join Street Toolz Limited as a Content Executive. And he also writes for Premium Times.
Digital Marketing [content marketing] has become an easy fit for him because it depends largely on creating valuable content – whether it is text, audio, video and graphics.
His dream is to pioneer a new set of creative content developers without boundaries in Nigeria.
